Administrative Law
Davis & Davis, P.C. maintains an extensive practice before the various boards and agencies that are located in the Capitol city. Likewise, administrative law on a federal level is another area in which the firm has maintained considerable expertise, especially with respect to reimbursement issues for health care facilities involving various federal reimbursement programs, such as Medicare and Medicaid. With early involvement developed by our major shareholders in the area of administrative law, and in particular, before the various health licensing agencies, the Texas Department of Insurance, all of the health care agencies, the Secretary of State and the Public Utilities Commission, other members have been added to Davis & Davis, P.C. who complement this activity, and their practice is substantially related to representing clients before these boards and agencies. The Administrative Procedures Act and the various licensing acts of the agencies above-referenced are a continually changing and challenging area of administrative law. Davis & Davis, P.C. has access to changes of these administrative agencies in their rules and regulations and thus, is involved on a daily basis before one or more administrative agencies, representing clients throughout Texas, and indeed, nationally.
